Hey there, I'm Nikola (or Nick if you like) and I enjoy sitting in front of a black screen, with a hot cup of coffee, building stuff for the web.
Growing up, I was captivated by computers and the internet, though I never imagined it as a career path. This uncertainty led me to pursue economics at the University of Belgrade, seeking a more conventional profession.
Eventually, I made the bold decision to leave college and join a tech startup, despite not having completed my degree. This leap of faith allowed me to immerse myself in the world of digital marketing, where I initially found excitement.
But as time went on, I discovered my true calling: creating things from scratch and bringing ideas to life through code.
So, I decided to teach myself web development. I started with HTML and CSS, and before I knew it, I was building websites using platforms like Webflow. It was like a whole new world opened up to me.
But I didn't stop there. I wanted to keep learning and growing, so I enrolled in an intensive 14-week program at the IT Bootcamp. There, I learned JavaScript and React, which are essential tools for web development.
Now, I'm on the lookout for a full-time job as a front-end web developer. I want to keep pushing myself, keep learning, and help companies achieve their goals through technology.
